Monarch Butterflies

On Labor Day we celebrated the birth of two monarch butterflies.  The first butterfly was a male and the second was a female. Then another birth at school was a boy and we let him go in the butterfly garden.

When the chrysalis is very dark, the monarch is ready to come out.

 Lucy was under her famous ottoman....sleeping while all the action took place.
