We LOVE Thursdays

Thursdays are getting to be our lucky good news days.  Lucy, Mike and I have now claimed Thursday as our favorite day of the week!  Great news arrived Thursday, December 19th...Queen Carrie Ashscot was bred last week.  We are hoping she will be a MOM!

The squirrels are smarter than we are....just look at this..!

Usually Oliver tended to the squirrels in the yard and they never out smarted him!  We are done with DIY, we went and bought a squirrel baffle and we haven't seen a squirrel since.

Thursday Surprise

Last Thursday was a long day... after school I had a 4:00 conference, then out to dinner with friends before attending a presentation by Christopher Lehman about close reading.

But, when I got home, look what I got in the mail.....

 A postcard from Bebe and it just made my day!  Aren't they beautiful? 

Now that's a lot of peace, love & joy!

We plan to get our next Westie from Bebe.

 

Lucy stayed home and helped Mike cook supper in the kitchen. 

That's a good thing because we are having Christmas and I don't cook!

Pug Mystery Solved

Mike, Lucy and I were out for a walk and we noticed the baby pug again.  The baby pug was in its yard and we are excited to say there are 3 pugs in the neighborhood.  They should have a pug party!

New Neighbor

There's a new baby pug in the neighborhood.  Mike was telling me about it and today I noticed the baby pug out for a walk!!  So we wonder...does this baby live in the "pug house" down in the next circle?  We wondered if one of the pugs in the pug house went to heaven.  We hope not.

Sweet Dreams

Lucy is back to her bed and it has been 7 months...finally.  She still doesn't go to Oliver's bed though.  They used to always switch beds.  Oliver went across the rainbow bridge on Sunday, April 18 2013.  For 2 weeks after that Lucy kept us up all night because she wanted us to know he wasn't in the house.  She wanted us to go get him and I wished we could have.  We lived through it and everyday it gets better.
